The Oasis-class ship’s multi-million dollar transformation includes additional nightlife, dining and activities. The refurbishment comes ahead of sailing seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises from homeport Barcelona, Spain, next summer. Cruise enthusiasts from all over the world will be excited to hear the Royal Caribbean cruise ship will soon boast the tallest slide at sea – Ultimate Abyss.
On-board activity offerings don’t stop there. It will come complete with The Lime & Coconut signature bar across two locations, a wider variety of seating and shade with cabana-like ‘casitas’, daybeds, hammocks and swing seats; new whirlpools on the top deck, and a reinvigorated, adults-only Solarium. Those keen to indulge in good food and drink while on their holiday will also not be disappointed.
Portside BBQ will serve up a menu inspired by popular barbecue styles across the United States, including brisket, pulled pork, chicken, burnt ends, mac and cheese, homestyle cornbread and more.
As for drinks, Bionic Bar by Makr Shakr, manned by two robot bartenders will be shaking up classic cocktails and custom orders. Also onboard will be Spotlight Karaoke, the dedicated karaoke bar with both main stage and private room experiences will feature thousands of songs to choose from, music trivia and themed nights.
